Norman Bel Geddes (born Norman Melancton Geddes; April 27, 1893 – May 8, 1958)

Bel Geddes was a theater and industrial designer, who created everything from concept cars to coctail shakers, radio cabinets to the case for IBM's Mark I computer. With Horizons, he popularized the principal of streamlining, a concept that would have a profound influence on architecture and design over the next three decades.
