"Normandie. Classe Touriste. Compagnie Générale Transatlantique French Line" 1935" refers to the French Line's (Compagnie Générale Transatlantique) ocean liner, the SS Normandie, in its "Tourist Class" configuration during its maiden voyage in 1935. The Normandie was a luxurious and innovative ship, known for its Art Deco interiors and record-breaking speed across the Atlantic. Despite its fame, the ship faced financial challenges and ultimately had a tragic end during World War II.
