A monograph of Impiglia's works highlighting his major murals from the '80s and '90s.
Giancarlo Impiglia was born in 1940, and lives and works in New York. He studied at the “Liceo Artistico,” (Artistic Lyceum), and at the ‘Accademia di Belle Arti di Roma,” (Academy of Fine Arts of Rome), where he specialized in murals and mosaics. He is known for his contemporary Art Deco style – using bold colors and geometric shapes to create vibrant scenes of urban life.
