The Duvrock Automatic Portable Trap is a historical 1930s clay target thrower. It is most notable for being one of the first self-loading, cord-operated portable traps designed for family outings rather than gun clubs.
Original Design: Introduced in 1930, it used a spring and a pull rope. The speed of the pull dictated how fast the target was thrown, and it held thin, wafer-like targets called "Dove Rocks".
Collectibility: Today, Duvrock traps and their original Dove Rock targets are considered rare collectibles among shooting sports enthusiasts.
