Achille Castiglioni (16 February 1918 – 2 December 2002) was an Italian designer of furniture, lighting, radiograms and other objects.
This Special Edition of Achille Castiglioni - The Complete Works is part of the production of 3000 numbered exemplars of the Arco lamp (designed by Achille and Pier Giacomo Castiglioni) with a base in black marble created to celebrate the fortieth anniversary of Flos (1962-2002).
Achille Castiglioni is considered a master of his craft, along with Enzo Mari, Joe Colombo, Charles and Ray Eames, Jean Prouve and Gio Ponti he defined an era with exquisitely designed objects.
