1st Edition. Tan cloth spine and green paper-covered boards, both with paste-on title labels; 8vo; 139pp; illustrated with 5 plates (3 maps, 2 drawings). This is the 2nd state binding which is limited to 350 numbered (#256) copies. The 2nd book published by The Anglers' Club of New York. "Eugene V. Connett was quoted as saying that American Trout Streams was 'the first book to be published by Derrydale,' though it does not bear the imprint of Connett's famous press." -- ( A Century With the Anglers' Club, 2006). It goes on to say, "This book is scientific in nature, and many of its tenets, espoused in 1926, hold true today."
