Photobook combining excerpts from Frey's novel, Bright Shiny Morning, with reproductions of three selections of photographs by Richardson of women, cars, and gang members. The front and back dust jacket images are by the artist Richard Prince. This book was a project conceived by John McWhinnie when he was at Glenn Horowitz Bookseller, in New York.
The stories are illustrated by Terry Richardson's photographs of Los Angeles, with a tipped-in image announcing each section.
