Syrie Maugham (née Barnardo, formerly Wellcome; 10 July 1879 – 25 July 1955) was a leading British interior decorator of the 1920s and 1930s and best known for popularizing rooms decorated entirely in shades of white.

This is the first biography of Syrie Maugham, and it assembles for the first time, photographs of her decorative work from her entire career, many of which have never before been published. There are eight pages in full colour and 33 black and white photographs.
