Artist Bio:
Julian Barrow was known for his landscapes and paintings of country houses, conversation pieces and interiors. He studied painting in Florence under Signorina Simi and Pietro Annigoni.

He regularly exhibited at the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition, and had one man shows at the Fine Art Society in London and at the W M Brady Gallery in New York.

He travelled extensively in India, South East Asia, France, Italy and the USA. From the mid-60s until his death he lived and worked at his studio in Tite Street, Chelsea, London, a Victorian building of studios once occupied by John Singer Sargent, Whistler and Augustus John.
