Marcos Blahove was born in the Ukraine and was a resident of Tybee Island, Georgia. He studied at the Academia Vicente Puig, Buenos Aires, and at the National Academy of Design in New York City.
Marcos Blahove was a noted portrait artist whose paintings appear in the National Collection of Fine Arts and Portrait Gallery of the Smithsonian Institution, Washington, D.C.; Navy Combat Art Collection, Washington, D.C.; Weatherspoon Art Gallery, University of North Carolina, Greensboro; Southampton College, Long Island University, New York; and at the Salmagundi Club, New York, where he was a member.
He had done commissioned portraits of Aaron Copland, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Ford 2nd etc.
