Reveals details of Roxanne Pulitzer's sensational marriage to Herbert Peter Pulitzer, the Pulitzer's divorce, and Palm Beach life.

She was dubbed the "Strumpet with the Trumpet," and her sensational divorce and reports of cocaine use and kinky sex practices, rocked the tabloids. Here is Rox's own story--a shocking between-the-sheets memoir that settles some dishy scores along the way.
"If writing well is the best revenge, she's getting...satisfaction."

Roxanne Pulitzer (née Renckens) (born February 10, 1951) is an American novelist and actress. She attracted media attention in the 1980s during her divorce trial from Herbert "Peter" Pulitzer. She met Palm Beach-based newspaper tycoon Herbert "Peter" Pulitzer (heir to Pulitzer, Inc.) at a party; they married, and their twin sons Maclean Simpson Pulitzer ("Mac") and Zachary Simpson Pulitzer ("Zac") were born in 1978. In 1982, Herbert sued for divorce. Pulitzer is the author of an autobiography, Prize Pulitzer: The Scandal That Rocked Palm Beach, and the novels Facade, Twins and The Palm Beach Story. Her autobiography was later adapted into a made-for-television movie, Roxanne: The Prize Pulitzer, written from her point of view. Reveals details of Roxanne Pulitzer's sensational marriage to Herbert Peter Pulitzer, the Pulitzer's divorce, and Palm Beach life. Since both the book and the subsequent TV movie were told from Roxanne's point of view, it is to be expected that certain ego-massaging liberties would be taken with the facts behind her sensational divorce from publishing heir Herbert Pulitzer, and Herbert's subsequent bitter child custody battle. Thus, it is that Roxanne is portrayed as a wide-eyed innocent at the time of her marriage, and Pulitzer is a double-dyed dastard. Reveals details of Roxanne Pulitzer's sensational marriage to Herbert Peter Pulitzer, the Pulitzer's divorce, and Palm Beach life.
