A humourous collection of cartoons by Annie Tempest which appear weekly in the pages of Country Life Magazine. The characters are two ageing aristocrats who live amidst the decaying splendour of Tottering Hall in the fictional county of North Pimmshire. Lord and Lady Tottering, known affectionately as Daffy and Dicky, lead a quintessentially English country lifestyle. Daffy, in wellies, puffa and pearls, drinks gin and tonic, still smokes, and is constantly fretting about her weight and descending bosom. Dicky lives in his own world of hunting, shooting and fishing, and occasional visits to his London club to bemoan the changing world with fellow septuagenarians.
