Myopia Hunt Club in South Hamilton, Massachusetts. Founded in 1892, the course was designed by Herbert Leeds in 1894. Known also as a fox hunting club (hence the logo), a ‘drag hunt’ is a form of equestrian sport where hounds trace an artificially laid scent. Myopia has one of the oldest polo fields - Gibney Field. In 1890, Myopia was one of seven charter members, with only Myopia and Meadowbrook still in existence today. A 4-time host of the @usopengolf, the 1898 U.S. Open was the first time the championship was contested over 72 holes (the first three championships were 36 holes).
