Eric Meade-King (1911-1987) studied at the Westminster School of Art and later had advice from Lionel Edwards. He had one-man exhibitions in London at the Greatorex Galleries, Grafton Street (1937 and 1938) and exhibited at the Royal Institute of Painters in Watercolours and other London Galleries, and for many years at the Three Counties Agricultural Show, Malvern. Eric Meade-King wrote and illustrated The Silent Horn, Summer Sketches of Horses and Hounds, 1938. His subjects include hunting, shooting and fishing, and everything connected with English country life.
