"Cats in the Isle of Man," published in 1929 by Daisy Fellowes, is a novel that follows the life of Claudia, the daughter of an American heiress and a Polish prince. The story, narrated by her childhood friend Judith, details Claudia's adventures and poor taste in men, with little to do with the actual Isle of Man. The book, which is partly autobiographical, is known for its witty and sometimes caustic prose.

Daisy Fellowes (née Marguerite Séverine Philippine Decazes de Glücksberg; 29 April 1890, in Paris – 13 December 1962, in Paris) was a prominent French socialite, acclaimed beauty, minor novelist and poet, Paris editor of American Harper's Bazaar, fashion icon, and an heiress to the Singer sewing machine fortune.
