In the Review of Revues theatre impresario Charles B. Cochran has turned his hand to editorship, bringing together articles and illustrations on the subject of the theatre. The writers include Ashley Dukes, Constance Collier, Edward Carrick and H.F. Rubinstein. Their words are accompanied by artwork by Althea Willoughby, Oliver Messel, Claudia Guercio and Ceri Richards, among others. The book ends with a mulit-page 'Calendar for Theatregoers' by Edward Bawden.
The book is warmly inscribed by Cochran to Juliet Duff.
