In its day, the RMS Berengaria was the pride of the Cunard fleet and sailed from the English port of Southampton to New York. It was known as “the happy ship” because of its luxurious accommodations and fine service at sea.

With capacity for nearly 4,000 passengers in four classes, it was a true giant of Britain’s mercantile fleet. Entertainment in the evenings was a huge part of passenger enjoyment.
