The 1960 Glyndebourne Festival Opera season ran from 28 May to 16 August 1960. The season featured six main operas with performances directed by Carl Ebert (revival) and others, featuring the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra.

I Puritani (Bellini): Conducted by Vittorio Gui/Bryan Balkwill, featuring Joan Sutherland (Elvira), Nicola Filacuridi (Arturo), Ernest Blanc (Riccardo), and Giuseppe Modesti (Giorgio).
Falstaff (Verdi): Conducted by Vittorio Gui, featuring Geraint Evans (Falstaff), Ilva Ligabue (Alice), Sesto Bruscantini (Ford), and Oralia Dominguez (Mistress Quickly).
Der Rosenkavalier (R. Strauss): Conducted by Leopold Ludwig, featuring Regine Crespin (Feldmarschallin), Regina Sarfaty (Oktavian), Anneliese Rothenberger (Sophie), and Oscar Czerwenka (Ochs).
Don Giovanni (Mozart): Conducted by John Pritchard/Peter Gellhorn, featuring Ernest Blanc (Don Giovanni), Joan Sutherland (Donna Anna), and Ilva Ligabue (Donna Elvira).
Die Zauberflöte (Mozart): Conducted by Colin Davis, featuring Richard Lewis (Tamino), Pilar Lorengar (Pamina), Geraint Evans (Papageno), and Margareta Hallin (Queen of the Night).
La Cenerentola (Rossini): Conducted by John Pritchard/Peter Gellhorn, featuring Anna Maria Rota (Cenerentola), Juan Oncina (Ramiro), and Sesto Bruscantini (Dandini). 

Highlights and Details
Production Book: The 1960 program book featured cover art by Osbert Lancaster and consisted of 104 pages.
Triple Bill: The season included Il segreto di Susanna (Wolf-Ferrari), La voix humaine (Poulenc), and Arlecchino (Busoni).
Key Performers: Joan Sutherland appeared in both I Puritani and Don Giovanni.
