Images A La Sauvette is one of the greatest photography books ever to be published. Released in 1952 by Editions Verve, on the initiative of Tériade, it brings together the photographs taken by Henri Cartier-Bresson during the first twenty years of his career. It is, in 1952, a monograph of the best of the work of Henri Cartier-Bresson, published by an art publisher, with an original cover by Henri Matisse.
