The castle and gardens were open to the public from 1950 to 2011, when the contents of the castle/chateau were sold in this auction. The current owners allow only the gardens to be visited by the public, in groups. This set of auction catalogues include great works from many eras but appeal especially to modern tastes and center on decorative arts. An amazing set from an amazing chateau.
