Or et Couleurs (Gold and Colours) by French decorative artist Georges Darcy, originally published in Paris circa 1925 by A. Calavas. Created during the height of the Art Deco period, Darcy’s striking designs combine stylized flowers, foliage and abstract forms with bold color and dramatic touches of gold.

The original works were produced using pochoir, an elaborate hand-stenciling technique used for many of the finest French decorative arts portfolios of the early 20th century. A century later, Darcy’s strong compositions and unexpected color combinations still feel remarkably modern.
