In 1892, Redmond established the Green Spring Valley Hunt Club with friends. Redmond was Master of the Hounds, and the club met at the Stewart family summer home, "Cliffeholme." Redmond rode in 15 Maryland Hunt Cups, and he won on 'Landslide' in 1904. He rode a horse in the inaugural parade for President McKinley.
