William "Billy" Halsey (1867–1961) was a prominent British jump jockey and racehorse trainer. Born in Potter's Bar, Middlesex, on April 12, 1867, he rose from driving a butcher's cart to become the champion jump jockey of 1895, famously winning the Scottish Grand National that same year on Nepcote.
