"Without Stopping" is the 1987 autobiography of Paul Bowles. The book details his life, including his New England childhood, musical training with Aaron Copland, and connections with prominent writers of the 1930s, such as Truman Capote and Tennessee Williams. It also covers his travels to various countries, including France, Morocco, and India, and his eventual settlement in Tangier.

Paul Frederic Bowles (December 30, 1910 – November 18, 1999) was an American expatriate composer, author, and translator. He became associated with the Moroccan city of Tangier, where he settled in 1947 and lived for 52 years to the end of his life.
